Man sent to buy salad accidentally buys pizza

A man sent by his wife to buy salad has accidentally returned home with a pizza.

Dareen Giblet was asked by his wife Debbie to go buy salad from his local store but he got confused and bought pizza instead.

Mr Giblet told WalesOnCraic:

“I was in such a rush to get out of the house that I totally forgot what I was going to the shop for. I was going to call her to ask her but I’d forgotten my phone too. I decided to look around the shop to see if had any reminders but as I was wandering around, a large pizza accidentally fell into my basked and I accidentally bought it and left the shop.

“It was a nice-looking pizza too and I didn’t want to waste it so I went home and ate it. My wife went apeshit because she’s trying to lose some weight but she had some in the end so I think I’m in her good books now.”

Mrs Giblet said that she has forgiven her husband, but that he’ll have to do better net time.

“He does this every week. It’s no wonder I’m 30 stone. He just keeps accidentally buying pizza when all I ever want is salad.”

The couple are planning a trip to the store together next week to see if they can actually buy some salad.
