Controversial plans to build third bus stop at Cardiff Airport get green light

Wales’s largest airport is set get its controversional third bus stop after planning plans were green lit by the Welsh Assembly Government.

The new $4bn bus stop looking likely to be built in the next few years as the airport seeks to expand its bus stop capacity by 50% over the next ten years.

Airport boss Bradley ‘Biggles’ Biggles told WalesOnCraic:

“As a nation, we are looking to provide a gateway to the world here at Rhoose so it’s only natural that we’d look to expand our range of bus stops to facilitate this.

“At present, we can only get two buses in at a time and this causes problems when Debbie turns up with her bus and Derek turns up with his. On top of this, we get arseholes parking in the current bus stops when they’re dropping people off so we do need a third bus stop so that they can park there instead. That would free up the first two bus stops so that Debbie and Derek can park their buses there when they arrive together.”

Cardiff Airport is the country’s premier airport, offering flights to Exeter and Swansea.

“We want to showcase our country to the world and having three bus stops would really provide an impact statement to those who visit Wales.”

The bus stop has caused controversy after one local said that they didn’t want it built.

“I don’t want it built,” said local resident Tammy Turbotits.

The airport is also set to get three new bins, which will be placed in the car park.
