Freaky seagulls terrorising Llandudno visitors

Seagulls in Llandudno have been spotted screaming and swearing at passers-by, and in some cases, physically assaulting them with sticks

Freaky seagulls are terrorising visitors and residents of a north Wales town.

Seagulls in Llandudno have been spotted screaming and swearing at passers-by, and in some cases, physically assaulting them with sticks.

Town mayor Aidan Bellend said that the seagulls were scaring people away. He told WalesOnCraic:

“We have enough of a problem here in Llandudno with some of the scary-looking pensioners so this is something that we’re not best pleased about. These mutant seagulls seem to be twice the size of normal seagulls and seem very angry. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them coming out of Wetherspoons and picking a fight.”

Llandudno is no stranger to seagull problems. In 1987, council officials organised a cull after a gang of seagulls held up a train at ransom. Over 13,000 birds were culled by feeding them bread soaked in baking powder, which made them explode.

“We might have to do the same thing again,” said the mayor.
