Kamala Harris to start new job in Merthyr Greggs

Failed US Presidential hopeful Kamala Harris is to start a new job in Merthyr Greggs.

The current Vice President will be expected to tot up the price of sausage rolls and steak bakes in her head.

A spokeswoman for Greggs told WalesOnCraic:

“We’ve had a few celebrities come work for us over the years. Everyone from Boris Johnson through to Liz Truss have come to us after they found themselves out of work. We’ve set them on new career paths but this will be the first time we’ve had anyone from abroad in.

“Kamala will start til training after Christmas. By the end of the week, she should be able to tot up three sausage rolls and two steak bakes in her sleep. We’ll keep her off making any coffee for a while because she can’t be trusted to make that just yet. Hopefully, she’ll make a good deputy manager in years to come.”

Harris failed in her bid to be the first female president in US history after losing to a perma-tan golfer.
