Letters: Ice cream heartache

Dear WalesOnCraic,

I recently went to Barry Island and made the big mistake of buying an ice cream.

It was a hot day and all I wanted was to feel something cold and wet in my mouth. I purchased the ice cream and was instantly satisfied.

My pleasure didn’t last however because once I’d eaten the cold ice cream, I then had to eat the wafer cone, and as we all know, wafer cones aren’t cold and wet. In fact, they’re the complete opposite. It was warm and dry. I ate the wafer cone and was back to square one! Can you imagine my sense of complete disappointment and heartache?

It made me think that ice creams have a fundamental flaw design. If you’re going to include a wafer cone, surely that should be on top so that you’re left with the cold wet ice cream as your lasting memory.

No wonder communists are taking over this world. Please sort it out.
