Evening classes launched to help men load dishwashers properly

The classes look to address men's lackadaisical methods of placing the dishes and bowls into their dishwashers

Evening classes aimed at helping men load dishwashers properly have been launched in Aberdare.

Men will learn how to swill utensils before loading and where to best place items so that they are washed the first time round.

Course director, Irene Grumble told WalesOnCraic:

“I know my husband could do with some of these classes because he’s such a dickhead when it comes to loading the dishwasher. He doesn’t rinse anything before he puts them in and then tries to put too much in there. Nothing gets cleaned properly so they have to go in a second time, making our electricity bills go through the roof.

“Honestly, the times I’ve had to come after him, checking to see if things are actually clean. This new course will make sure that men washing off any excess food before putting them in the machine because I’ve found lumps of crap in my machine before. The course will also explain to men how best to place the items. I’ve seen saucepans on the top shelf and wine glasses on the bottom shelf before now. This is not acceptable in this day and age.”

The courses are free and all members who pass will get a free certificate that they can take home to show their other halves.
