Nightclub forced close after attracting too many munters

The manager of Sticky Floor Nightclub said the place had become overrun with munters in the six months that it had been open

A nightclub in Swansea has been forced to close after attracting too many munters.

The manager of Sticky Floor Nightclub said the place had become overrun with munters in the six months that it had been open.

He told WalesOnCraic:

“It was awful. It was like something out of Star Wars. We only opened six months ago and even on the first night, we were inundated with munters. At the time, I thought it was a one-off but as the week went on, they just kept coming and coming. I felt as if I was living in a munter nightmare.

“By the second month, I was trying to think up ways to stop them from coming. I organised a ‘Hot People Only Night’ but I got all the sweaty munters coming in that night. I asked my bouncers to only let good-looking people in but then there was a bit of a riot and the munters managed to get inside anyway. It was like something out of Night Of The Living Dead.”

In the end, the manager, who didn’t want to be named, decided to close the doors.

“I had to close the doors and shut the place down for good,” he said. “It’ll take me a good few years to get over it,” he added.
