A woman from Trebanog has expressed her disappointment at not getting a Valentine’s Day card after telling her husband not to get her a Valentine’s Day card.

Ethel Undergunt told her husband not get bother getting her a Valentine’s Day card but was crest-fallen when he told her that he hadn’t got her one.

She told WalesOnCraic:

“We like to express our love to each other through out everyday activities - like me sitting on his face while he’s trying to watch Panorama, and him slapping my arse when I’m at the sink, doing the sprouts.

“I always thought of Valentine’s Day as a commercial money-making day so I told my husband Ian not to bother buying a shitty card. He never does as I ask so I woke up this morning, expecting to have a shitty card but there was no shitty card there.

“When I challenged him on it, he said that I said not to buy a card so he never bought a card but when I told him not to buy a card, what I actually meant was that I wanted him to buy me a card, which he didn’t.”

Husband Ian said:

“I’ve got no idea what she’s on about. I’m just looking forward to my hand-job later.”
