A bright and half-tidy start to the day but with some showers developing throughout the day, especially up in the north. Not feeling particularly warm with a maximum temperature of 19°C. As yer nan would say, take a jacket, just in case.

Down on farm, Farmer Honey changed his nationality to Slovakian last night and was nearly on the cusp of Euro glory when England scored and then scored again and then won the match and then went through to the next round. It spoiled what would have been a romantic night for Farmer Honey as Mrs Honey had promised him a special treat if Slovakian won. Which they didn’t. So that was that.
