Welsh Space Agency to launch sheep into space

WELSH NEWS
The Welsh Space Agency has announced that it is to launch a sheep into space.
Scientists will be launching Glenda the sheep into space from a council car park later this week.
Scientist Billy Spectacles told WalesOnCraic:
“We’ve come a long way since the days of launching our balloons from Brian’s back garden. They only got so far into the atmosphere before they popped. We gained little scientific information from them to be honest.
“These days, we’ve built ourselves a wonderful rocket that will allow us to break out of the earth’s atmosphere and for us to reach space. Me and the lads will be going down to the local Pay and Display car park on Wednesday night because there’s no bingo that night and we’ll have plenty of room.
“Brian’s got hold of this sheep called Glenda that we’ll be putting on board. Hopefully, the rocket will take the weight and it it doesn’t, we’ll all be having mutton stew for tea that night.”
The ambitious project follows the Welsh Space Agency’s latest launch from the top of a pub in May. The rocket crash-landed into a passing Ford Transit van and the scientists had to scarper before the van’s driver came and bashed their heads in.
