Woman finds dead bird in sandwich

A woman from Trebanog has found a dead bird in a supermarket sandwich.

Tina Thundergunt discovered the horror when she bit into her Chicken Feast sandwich on Monday. 

She told WalesOnCraic: 

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I goes to that specific supermarket because I can usually trust their food but what I found in that sandwich has disgusted me. 

“I was in a rush because my husband and I were late for our dogging session and I was proper starving. I just grabbed the sandwich, along with a pack of Quavers, and we drove off. As soon as I opened the packet, I knew something was not right. It smelt like rotting flesh but I was proper starving, like I said.

“I bit into it and felt my tooth cut through something tough. When I looked, I could see bits of flesh in there and when I pulled the sandwich apart, all I could see was dead bird.” 

Tina’s screams alarmed her husband, who immediately pulled the car over. He told WalesOnCraic: 

“I didn’t know what was going on. I stopped the car and looked over at her and she had bits of dead bird all over her. She looked like she was going to be sick. But she was ok. I think she’s a bit of a drama queen.” 

Tina and her husband later continued their journey to the dogging site where Tina enjoyed a sausage sandwich instead.
